Angie and Tim's love story began in Miami Beach.

Tim was in Miami for a high school pal's wedding, where he made his way to the after party bar called Sweet Liberty. It just so happened that Angie was at the same bar with friends, watching one of their favorite local bands perform. While the band played old school jams, Angie and Tim started talking to each other in the crowd. In very typical Tim fashion, he asked "Would you like a drink? I have two free drink tickets." Angie couldn't ignore a clever deal, so she agreed.

Later that night, Angie convinced Tim to grab some late night food at her go-to Coconut Grove spot, Mary's Coin Laundry Cafe. After Tim's first bite of that Cuban steak sandwich, it's no wonder he planted roots in Florida and never moved back up north. Luckily, he was working remote at the time and his roommates let him stay rent free - thanks Jeanie and Dave!

A year and a half later, the couple drove down to Key Largo to celebrate Angie's 30th birthday and enjoy a relaxing "staycation." Little did Angie know, this "staycation" was a months-in-the-work secret engagement plan! Tim popped the question at the resort's private pergola overlooking the sunset on the ocean. Afterwards, as the couple walked into the resort's restaurant for dinner, an extra sweet surprise was awaiting them. Tim invited their families to a dinner celebration, without Angie ever noticing! Needless to say, it was a night full of happiness and love.
